Aruba Instant Enterprise, a software release from Aruba Networks, delivers enterprise-class Wi-Fi features including voice and video optimization, integrated spectrum analysis, advanced security, Layer 3 roaming for controller-less scale, and support for Apple AirPlay and AirPrint. No physical or virtual controllers are required. In addition, Aruba Activate is a cloud-based, zero-touch provisioning service enabling enterprise IT, managed service providers and resellers to reduce opex associated with large scale, distributed Wi-Fi deployments… Extreme Networks Inc. now is a sponsor company of US Ignite, a U.S. based public/private partnership launched at the White House earlier this year to push advanced applications that leverage next-generation Internet networks (gigabit networks). It also provides low operating current of 360 mA at 22 dBm, allowing more transmission channels at a higher data rate per system…The Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) is the newest member of the oneM2M Partnership, launched in July to enable deployment of services in machine-to-machine (M2M) communications systems. OMA was the first group to apply as a oneM2M Partner Type 2, and it now can work on oneM2M initiatives while continuing its own work on M2M-related specs.
