The management team at Suddenlink Communications is partnering with existing equity holders BC Partners and CPP Investment Board to buy the cableco for $6.6 billion. The deal could close in the fourth quarter…Cogeco is acquiring Atlantic Broadband for approximately $1.3 billion…Following its recent purchase of broadband provider AboveNet, Zayo is expanding its fiber footprint in Denver to support the area’s R&D, technology, education and energy industries…IP video solutions developer Clearleap now is offering the Adobe-integrated ClearPlay Authentication managed service it says will allow service providers to enable TV Everywhere. The National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) named Clearleap an “Approved Provider” for authentication services.
