— The next-gen TurboDPI II from Cavium Inc. now incorporates as many as nine major DPI functional modules integrated into a holistic toolkit optimized for OCTEON II processors. According to the company, TurboDPI II's Uniscan technology helps ensure data only is scanned once by the OCTEON's built-in hardware HFA DPI engines, with the results passed to the appropriate module. Full TurboDPI user and programmer documentation along with binary demonstrations of TurboDPI II are available.

— RAN provider Movik Networks unveiled cREACH, what it says is the industry’s first cloud-enabled, end-to-end, intelligent RAN deployment lifecycle product that facilitates network sharing at the cellular level, bandwidth-on-demand across multiple networks, and access to user and control plane actionable intelligence. cREACH is being trialed by several mobile operators that are moving their data to the cloud, Movik says. In addition, cREACH expedites network planning and new services rollout.

— U.K.-based NUGEN Audio released a standalone version of its LM-Correct loudness-analysis and -correction tool; it originally was available only as an AudioSuite plug-in. LM-Correct, a file-based program, provides EBU R128|ATSC A/85 (CALM Act)-compliant loudness correction via a rapid two-click solution for loudness normalization and conformance. Settings include presets for current loudness standards, short-term loudness, overall integrated program loudness measurement and correction, maximum true-peak level targeting and "EBU Mode." The software also supports mono through 5.1 audio.
