— Accenture won top honors as the 2012 Supplier of the Year at Cisco’s 3rd Annual Global Procurement Services conference in New York City, recognized for “exceeding Cisco’s performance expectations in areas including development and implementation of cost-saving programs.” Cisco annually hands out awards in four categories: partnership, quality, innovation and Supplier of the Year.
— Earlier today, SCTE launched its Business Class Services Specialist (BCSS) course and certification program, designed to help cablecos roll out higher-margin business services. The BCSS certification was custom-designed to help field technicians deploy and troubleshoot installations for small-to-medium-sized business-class customers; the program is available in instructor-led or on-demand online formats, or it can be accessed online.
