Roland Martin has been a staple on cable news stemming from his long stint on CNN as a political analyst who always spoke his mind and introduced unique
perspectives. But his weekly one-hour public affairs show on TV One is perhaps his best work to date, allowing the introspective Martin to focus on issues not only important to African-Americans but ultimately the entire electorate. The show combines one-on-one, in-depth interviews and fascinating roundtable discussions to dig deeper than most and attempt to find common ground between opposing viewpoints. It’s smart TV. And Martin’s at the top of his game.
