Best Show or Series – Animals/Nature
Winner
Untamed Americas – National Geographic Channel
This production team spent nearly 2 years in the field, traveling thousands of miles to capture wildlife across the globe. The result is stunning footage that captures previously undocumented animal behavior, adding a more personal touch with engaging storytelling that makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the action. The 4-hour mini, which marked the first U.S. simulcast across National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Mundo, explores some of the greatest wildlife spectacles, delicate dances, unbelievable endurance and against-the-odds survival, with episodes featuring the continent’s mountains, deserts, forests and coasts. We were tamed.
