Paul Brennan is Sony Pictures Television’s Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales, a role that puts him in charge of overseeing the sales efforts for FEARnet, cable’s premier horror genre TV and VOD channel and 3net, a TV network solely dedicated to 3D programming. Brennan is a member of the Ad Sales team, responsible for negotiating and selling national commercial time for SPT’s syndicated products, comprising daytime talk, off-network comedies and game shows. He also assists in selling ad sales for SPT’s original digital content outlets, including FEARnet.com and the PlayStation Network. Working in SPT’s New York offices, Brennan reports to Stuart Zimmerman, executive vice president, advertiser sales, SPT; and Amy Carney, president, advertiser sales, SPT.
SPT is a company that is known for its innovative sales strategies, and Brennan is leading the charge in the dynamic ad insertion (DAI) realm, selling SPT’s DAI capabilities in FEARnet-centric free video on demand content for cable set top boxes. This revolutionary new service launched in September 2012, with 10 advertisers attached. Since that time, the system has experienced substantial growth every month.
Brennan first entered the business at Grey Advertising/Mediacom, where he served in the National Broadcasting Group, negotiating and buying national commercial time for such blue-chip companies as Hasbro, Kraft Foods and Canon Cameras. He then became an account executive at MetroNetworks, selling the National Unwired Network News. Before taking his current position at SPT in 2005, Brennan spent five years as an Account Executive for the Hallmark Channel, developing and selling commercial time at the growing network.

A + E Television Networks
As Vice President, Distribution Business Development for A+E Networks, Richard oversees strategic direction, product development and operations for the deployment of advanced media products through cable, satellite and telco affiliates. His areas of responsibility include TV Everywhere, VOD and interactive television. Under Richard’s leadership, A+E brands including A&E, History and Lifetime have become leading sources of views in their respective VOD categories and have established VOD as a cornerstone for critical marketing and ad sales campaigns. Richard also played a primary role in the development of iTV initiatives that led to A+E Networks’ recognition in 2010 for “Best iTV Program” by DISH Network and “Most Significant Newcomer” at the TV of Tomorrow Show. Richard joined A+E Networks in August, 2005 serving as Manager, VOD Marketing.
Prior to joining A+E Networks, Richard worked for Fujisankei Communications International, a subsidiary of FUJI Television, Japan’s highest-grossing and top-rated broadcast network, where he served as Manager of Business Development.
Richard received a BA in Japanese Studies from Bucknell University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. He currently lives in northern New Jersey with his wife and two sons.

The Power-Point presentations are presented over the Internet and are available to print out before the program. This is like a talk-radio program with visuals on the Web. You and your team will be able to have a live Q&A with all the speakers.
You need Real Player or Windows Media Player installed on your computer. If you do not have either, please follow the instructions below to download and install them. Or if you prefer, a phone for the audio and an Internet connection to let you watch the slides and other information on the Web will suffice. No other downloads or special hardware - a dial-up connection will work fine.
- One (1) set of materials (you may make copies for all of the persons you invited to listen to the program);
- One (1) toll-free connection to the seminar (if you select the audio connection.), and
- One (1) Internet connection to the seminar.
Use speakers on your computer or speakerphone on your telephone and invite your entire staff to attend for one low price of $339.00 USD per site.
For the audio connection:
- A computer with Real Player or Windows Media Player installed. When you log into the Virtual Seminar, your computer will be taken through a brief configuration check and will let you know if you're missing any software.
- If you do not have Real or Windows, a touch-tone telephone will work also. It works best to use a speakerphone so that others can listen too.
For the Internet connection:
- PC: 166Mhz Pentium-based PC or better
- Operating system: Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP
- Browser: For optimal viewing experience, we recommend using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. However, any version of IE 4.0 or higher will work. For Netscape, only versions 4.x are supported at this time.
- Internet connection: 28.8 or faster connection
- Display set at 1024 x 768 or 800 x 600
- Mac users are encouraged to use Firefox 2.0 (or later) with Real Player to view the webcast. You can also test your system using the system test button in menu on the left hand side.
