DOJ Watch—Cable Braces for More Net Neutrality Fun
Cable was the center of attention on Wednesday with the WSJ breaking the news that the Dept of Justice is examining whether operators are acting improperly to suppress online video competition. Netflix and Hulu are among several online video providers with which Justice officials have spoken. DOJ often opens investigations following complaints, and Public Knowledge has been grumbling about the issue to Justice and the FCC for the past 6 months.
