An innovative executive leader, Martinez joined Comcast in 2005 as VP of operations for the West Division. Previously, he held several executive management positions during his more than 18 years tenure at Verizon Wireless. Early in his career, he “had the good fortune of working with a leader who made it a point to always spend time in the field with frontline employees” and taught him the importance of engaging with teams, he says.
