Chopra continues to wear a lot of hats at TiVo, and he wears them well. He remains company interim CEO, and maintains his roles as CFO and SVP of the corporate development and strategy teams. As such, he guides TiVo’s financial operations as well as formulating its overall strategy and expanding distribution via a variety of commercial and strategic transactions. With Rovi’s pending $1.1 billion acquisition of TiVo, Chopra is focusing on what can be achieved with the combined technological assets of both companies, and how the merger can benefit customers.
