Arias’ team provides the entire governance structure, strategy and implementation oversight for Comcast’s diversity and inclusion strategy—a strategy that earned the company a spot in the DiversityInc Top 50 this year. Under her guidance, Comcast also expanded its internal diversity efforts to include a heightened focus on veterans, people with disabilities and members of the LGBT community with the launch of voluntary employee self-identification forms. And she’s at work developing an extension of the company’s Master Strategic Plan for Diversity, an internal roadmap of initiatives and tracking mechanisms launched in 2011.
