In the past year, Conroy-Galley has earned her frequent flier miles by expanding HGTV’s experiential marketing efforts through such place-based initiatives as SXSW and Comic-Con, as well as the creation of HGTV’s Holiday Open House at Minneapolis’ Mall of America. A participant in The White House Project’s Go Run program, which teaches women how to influence public policy, Conroy put those strategic principals to work to create a strong alignment between SNI’s HGTV and DIY Network and leverage both brands’ content across platforms. “Success in the workplace is all about having a singular vision and having the latitude to execute on that vision… flawlessly.” she says.

What’s your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is working with extraordinarily talented people in an industry about which I am passionate. I have been obsessed with TV since I was a kid, so the fact that I ended up here is nothing short of miraculous!
 
How do you define success in the workplace?
Success in the workplace is all about having a singular vision and having the latitude to execute on that vision…flawlessly. 
 
Who would you want to swap jobs with for a month and why?

If I could swap jobs with someone for a month it would be Mike Tomlin, head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. As a die-hard Steelers fan (and armchair quarterback), I have LOTS of ideas on how the team can improve. LOL!
